Welcome Industry Visitors

I would like to welcome any and all of the industry professionals that are investigating my site based on my request to join my study. I am very excited about the opportunity to work with you in order to identify cost-effective ways to increase the productivity of your hourly staff through the use of Emotional Intelligence.

My research is pointing to the influencing nature of the emotional intelligence of supervisors with the productivity and organizational citizenship behavior of their subordinate staff. I am in the final stages of my PhD studies, and my dissertation topic involves just that.

If you are reading this blog due to my inquiry, I am looking for industry partners willing to let me contact their operations and request participation with two quick surveys. The first is the TEIQue-SF a 30 question test designed to identify the supervisor's global trait emotional intelligence and the levels of the 4 individual factors of trait emotional intelligence (emotionality, well being, sociability and self-control. I am looking to establish an moderating influence between these levels and the organizational citizenship behavior which have been shown to represent employee satisfaction, engagement, and increased productivity. The OCB level of the staff can be determined through a 20 question survey.

I believe that any company that chooses to assist me in my quest, would benefit from the findings I am investigating. While it is my desire to publish my results as part of my quest for my PhD., I would be honored to share the results of my study first, and you would have the knowledge that any recommendations I make will be based completely on your organization.

It is my sincere desire to identify a way for industry to effectively compensate for the demands placed upon their labor cost structure, though the enhancement of the productivity of their hourly staff. My research points to the validity of my hypotheses, however, they have not yet been proven in a food service environment. I would be honored to add your company to this quest for knowledge. In the end, I hope to have my PhD, and I hope for you to have a useful tool.
